Lexaurus

Welcome to the LSIS Excellence Gateway vocabulary service.

The service is provided to enable users to browse, search and download a range of controlled vocabularies that may be used to manage resources in the Excellence Gateway. The vocabularies are developed to provide controlled terms for use in metadata and to drive navigation and search.

There is an alerting function which provides details of changes to vocabularies in RSS and ATOM formats and a machine to machine interface accessible via a REST API.

Lexaurus Bank provides a scalable and flexible solution for organisations that needs to manage and distribute vocabularies, taxonomies or data sets. The Lexaurus suite of products also includes a fully featured editor which can be used to create and edit vocabularies and can be synchronised with one or more Lexaurus Banks.
